IMPORTANT NOTICE - CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE 24.03.20

Following the latest government announcement confirming a national lock down, for everyone’s safety, please note that the offices of Milnbank Housing will remain closed until further notice.

REPAIRS - During this period we will operate a strict emergency repairs service only. On reporting a repair, our tradesmen will ask some screening questions to protect the household and our staff before visits can be agreed. We urge everyone to please only call if it is a real emergency.

SUPPORT –The Association is aware that some residents do not have any family members to provide support. We are currently in discussions with Glasgow City Council about what role, if any, MHA may have to support vulnerable residents. We are aware of the invaluable support that is currently being provided by neighbours and are appealing to everyone to continue to look out for each other.

RENT PAYMENTS – During this difficult period the Association understands the additional financial pressures imposed upon many households. In order to continue to provide the current level of services, MHA needs rental income to operate. We, therefore, ask tenants to continue to pay their rent. During the closure, MHA staff are available to support tenants to ensure rent payments are made. This includes repayment plans to cover arrears where applicable.
