Alan has been Director of Milnbank Housing Association since 1995. He has over 40 years’ experience working with housing providers within the local authority and housing association sectors. Previous roles include Maintenance & Development Manager at Reidvale Housing Association and he was the first Director of Cordale Housing Association when it was established in 1993.
Linda has worked at Milnbank for 40 years. She has been in her current role as Depute Director for over 20 years. Her previous posts included Housing Manager and she has worked in Finance, Admin, Maintenance and Factoring and her current remit include Head of HR and Governance.
Linda has a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Glasgow Caledonian University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Housing Studies from the University of Glasgow. She is currently a Board Member of the Glasgow &West of Scotland Housing Forum and has previously served on the Boards of SHARE and the local East End Advice Centre.
Business Relations Manager
Joe has been a member of Milnbank Housing Association senior management team for over 5 years, with specific responsibility for Housing Management. Joe has over 40 years' experience in working in the Social Housing Sector, 30 of which have been in management/senior management positions.
His areas of responsibilities have included: Welfare Benefits; Homelessness Repairs and maintenance, Performance Manager, Area Manager, Housing Manager, Finance and Training officer, Housing Officer, Cashier, Community Development officer.
Gordon Kerr is a highly motivated and experienced accountant and has been employed in the Housing Association sector for over 25 years. He has worked for several Associations, some with Care subsidiaries. He has substantial experience of Group Structure accounting and is familiar with preparing sets of Charity Accounts as well as Housing Association Accounts.
As well as his Finance experience, Gordon has also managed Corporate Services and Procurement functions in previous positions.
He firmly believes in the ethos of the community controlled housing movement and is committed to the Milnbank Core Value of “Always putting our tenants, customers and local community first”.
Gordon is an affiliate member of CIPFA.
Housing Services Manager
Theresa has over a decade of experience of various aspect of housing including homelessness, mid-market rent, and housing management. She has worked at both local authorities and housing associations. Before she made the move into housing, Theresa studied social work and worked in family support settings.
Theresa has an MA in Literary Studies, Postgraduate Certificate in Social Work and the Postgraduate diploma in Housing Studies. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Joanne has worked at Milnbank Housing Association for 20 years. She started her career with the Association working in Finance before moving to her current role in 2016 as managing the factoring service for owners.
Joanne has a HNC in Finance, ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership and is an Associate of the Institute of Residential Property Management.
Corporate Services Manager
Collette has worked at Milnbank HA since 2010 and has progressed her career over the years from Office Trainee to Corporate Services Manager. Within her current role, Collette line manages aspects of the Corporate Services function, this includes a key remit of heading HR, IT and Customer Services and also deputising for Governance issues for the Directorate. Part of Collette’s remit also involves strategically line managing the Community Engagement Team and MCE employees, including Carbon Footprints Nursery. In addition, Collette is an influencer for MHA’s emerging leaders.
Collette holds a Master’s Degree in Housing Studies from the University of Glasgow and graduated with Distinction.
